Even if you told them where the thieves were holding the car, they will not help. 2) Insurance companies find it much easier to simply write off your car, and pay you a small sum of money, as allowed by your policy. Vehicle collisions are a far bigger cost to insurance companies, so they ignore vehicle theft.[/quote]
