I have thyroid disease and since having a child, my weight has been stuck ~ 15 lbs above where I like to be (I'm 150 and physically perform and feel my best at 135). My sister -- an emotional eater who has even had a gastric band and regained all the weight -- is now on one of these weight loss drugs and looks (and feels, she says) beyond amazing. And here I can't seem to keep off 5 lbs more than a few weeks. It is maddening. I feel the stirrings of wanting it, but my practical side doesn't allow me to really go there (money, side effects, no *real*/medical need, etc.).[/quote]
