What they look for is not that easily quantifiable. Also remember that they take a lot of kids from schools with very hard grading where perfect grades are rare to non-existant. Plenty of brilliant, unique, leadership-quality kids get Cs at certain high schools. Also, note that the CDS for these schools do not report grades (why is that?); only in marketing will they massage some numbers and report the image they want to project.[/quote]
