Kids with ADHD who lose their coats or water bottles all the time do not need brand new, fancy coats or water bottles. They can get the crappy ones that don’t work as well, they can help pay for their 4th lost coat. They need accountability too—and it will be more work on the parents behalf, but it’s still important to teach them to the extent that you can. Throwing your hands up in the air and blaming their disability and not working to teach them does not help your child.[/quote]
