So, for a sleepaway camp, one that has visible supports and kids that are explosive, etc. - he likely won’t do well because of his own judgmental stuff. We try a lot to gently (and sometimes even less gently) help him understand his social skills deficits, but so far it hasn’t been effective. So wondering if Kodiak would have the social skills supports but have the vibe of an everyday camp.  When I called and spoke with the director, it seemed great. But she did mention that there were some cabins that required more support with everyday function- and that’s what made me uncertain.[/quote]
