+1. OP, in the spring, reach out to MLSNext and ECNL clubs and ask to practice with those teams. Even if he doesn’t get an offer, he’ll have an idea as to the level of play he needs to be at and can strive for that. Or he could impress at the practices and the spring tryouts will just be a formality.

So if City is convenient to you, I guess Maryland United, Achilles, Alexandria, Arlington, Bethesda are all good options.

Or, you can check out the 2010 teams in EDP I and reach out to practice at those clubs.

OP, if you talk to Achilles try to nail down whether they'll have a U15 team in MLS Next next year.  This year they do not.  And, if you could report back, that would be awesome. :). I have a U14 son too.  [/quote]

I think that's what last year's U14s (2009) thought.
