I've flown several times and have 2 more trips coming up. It was totally fine. One flight this summer was delayed by an hour or two, but they held the flights in Iceland to Europe and it worked great. Sometimes there are chargers on the flight and sometimes there are not. I usually bring my own food and get a drink (at least for the longer flight). I flew with my kids and it was totally fine. We just brought their tablets, back-up battery packs, had them loaded up with lots of games/movies, and they were golden. I've done the same for myself too when flying solo. I felt like they weren't too picky with luggage either....I wouldn't risk having something way over the limit, but I didn't have any issues. I felt like the staff were pleasant, helpful, and the plane was pretty clean....no issues.
Will they provide a cup of water for free, or is it absolutely nothing? Thanks.
Yes they give you water.
Just flew with them in August. No they don’t. No water. And also very strict with baggage
I wish more airlines enforced carryon rules. The size and amount of bags some people bring on is a bit much.
I’m the PP who booked them for June. At the very least, their baggage rules were comparable to IcelandAir. Whether IcelandAir just doesn’t enforce size is another issue. But if I recall what I was reading last night, checked bag size and weight was the same, carry-on size was very close, and Play’s personal item is smaller. A larger personal item, food & beverage service, and entertainment were not worth an extra $800 to me. I can bring my own snacks and download shows to my phone. I’ll be trying to sleep anyway. We’ll see how it goes. At least I don’t have a connection. My biggest worry is the airline goes under! In which case, I get a refund from the credit card.
