This is also why I have such anxiety when we leave our pets. One dog around me bolted from the pet sitters open front door and was killed last year. When I say "KEEP THE DOORS CLOSED", and other instructions, it's because I mean it. And the number that casually disregard those is a problem. Yes, I can board but that has it's own host of issues.
