You may find it’s still cheaper to join a gym that has classes included. It’s about $40/month for OneLife and even if you only went to two classes a week, they’d still be about $5/class.
I haven’t tried OneLife, but I tried another gym by my house and it was more than $40. I guess another option is to look for a different gym. Will look into OneLife because your comment makes sense.
I just joined OneLife after spending a fortune on yoga and Pilates classes over the years. I take two classes a week and started weight training on my own. It’s fantastic. I pay $59/month for the premiere membership so I can choose between several near my work or home. The cost for just one club was $49/month.
What classes do you like? I am maybe joining. It’s $49 for premier. Northern Virginia.
I like the Mind/Body classes - Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Flex, BodyBalance. I haven’t tried the Bootcamp, BodyPump, Step, Zumba, etc. but those aren’t really my speed. And I hate spin classes. Any class that involves a coach yelling over loud music makes me mad. Lots of people love those classes though and find that energy motivating. I really enjoy the more mindful yet challenging classes. I have found that the quality varies from place to place. I love classes at my primary gym (North Bethesda) but not at another one I tried in DC. So you may want to research more before joining since the classes are a priority for you. Good luck.
