Yes, one of the many reasons that Josh O’Connor’s performance as young-adult Charles was so acclaimed is that he perfectly captured Charles’ “stooping” posture!  [b]And I agree with critics who say that Dominic West is way too charismatic for the role of older Charles.[/b]

I think others, like Diana, did also stoop a bit, to try to minimize the way she towered over a lot of the men - and that’s a real issue for 6’3” Elizabeth Debicki.  And maybe William picked up a little shy, deferential stoop from his mom in real life?  I do recall him doing the head tilt thing when he was younger.

This, and he also comes off as more intelligent. Charles is highly intellectual but not that smart -- his weird life and the giant chip on his shoulder prevent him from having canniness. Diana, on the other hand, was not intellectual at all but highly canny, which I think Dubecki gets right. She's a frivolous woman but knows how to work things to her advantage.[/quote]
