I have seen many many black bears in the wild - they tend to run as soon as you make noise. Had a grizzly that hung around our tent for awhile one time, that was a bit nerve wracking. Apparently there were berries close to the tent and he was having a meal but he brushed against the tent quite a few times. [/quote]
