As some others already said, the girls freshman team will be hard to make at some schools and filled with AAU players. My daughter played on an AAU team and stopped basketball completely in middle school for other sports. She knew her HS chances were slim and if she made any team, it would be even harder to get playing time. Her other concern was barely making a team and never seeing a minute in a game.
