Clearly, you don’t understand how connections work. It’s entirely possible she has an extensive rolodex if she comes from a certain kind of family. When I was an associate at a v5 law firm, each summer and fall would bring new classes in which there would be least two or three associates whose behinds partners would line up to kiss. The associates typically had mediocre work product and insufferable or standoffish attitudes. It took me years to figure out the partners’ solicitousness because of who these associates’ parents were and where these associates were guaranteed to end up. [/quote]

Hint: The woman who is known to be her benefactor is a major powerbroker. THAT is why people were willing to fork over cash to this 25 year old. It’s a classic example of people dealing with the person behind the person by proxy.[/quote]

All the easier for the FBI to turn the screws on her. She’s not sophisticated, she’s simply holding her hand out and collecting checks on behalf of Adams. She has little acumen, savvy, or power of her own. She very likely operated with zero autonomy. Therefore anything she did was done with Mayor Adams’s knowledge and likely at his specific direction. It’s going to be very hard for Adams to say “The 23 year-old did it!”

Fundraisers get a percent of what they bring. Seems like a very easy job you’d give to someone very, very close to you. I wonder why he picked this very young woman for such a cush job?
