My clinic has me doing IM injections every morning...ouch, but ironically better then leaky inserts, and an insert every night. My insert tries to come out also (I have a very retroverted uterus) but I literally put it in and jump into bed. Why don't you have them check your progesterone level via blood test? It is very important to keep it up. That way, no 'what-ifs" and if its too low, you can ask about injections. Good luck!
Really, you prefer the daily injection? While I didn't think the trigger shot was painful, I'd much rather put in an insert than get a shot with a huge needle every day. I would have hated doing that for two months... I'm not so sure how important the progesterone blood levels really are. What's really important is that you get the progesterone to your uterus, which is achieved with vaginal administration. Not raising the blood levels is precisely the advantage of vaginal inserts - because it means fewer side effects. Everybody always says SG looks at nothing but their stats - so if progesterone injections did anything for success rates, I'm sure they would do them... They never checked my progesterone levels during the cycle (as far as I know).
