No. Also, In-pool only means a packet is automatically created, not that your child is guaranteed acceptance into the program. This local shift is only 2-yrs old but higher SES in-pool scores are typically above 140. [/quote]

I would question the judgement of a parent who moves to improve their child’s chance of being selected into a moderately advanced academic program. That would mean a parent is moving from a school with higher test scores, so an arguably stronger peer group, to a school with lower test scores to increase the chance of getting into LIV.

I have no clue how disrupting the families lives by moving to a lower scoring school for any period of time would be good for the child or family. But I am sure that the Title 1 or near Title 1 school would be happy to have you.[/quote]
