Kid’s procrastinate, and if they had 10 applications in progress on 10/31, but only managed to finish 5 by 11/1, then this gives them the opportunity to finish some of the other 5. Besides making numbers look better, from the school’s point of view it’s better to see as many applications as early as possible to have a better sense of the overall application pool.[/quote]
