Kudos on the amazing amount of cardio that you’re doing daily! I do think that adding in some weights can help, but most importantly I think is diet. It’s just a brutal slog if you try to eat whatever you want and then exercise it off. You’ll see much better results if you really focus on diet to complement your exercise. I am about 5 years older than you and more petite so I was trying to lose 5 lbs which was impossible when I was trying to eat relatively healthy (occasional bagel, toast, pasta, coffee with sugar, etc). I finally gave up white flour (no bread, pizza, etc), most added sugar (sugar in coffee, desserts, pastries), and try to eat low gluten (I have the occasional multigrain waffle because otherwise constipation is an issue). I did all this by drastically increasing my intake of veggies, fruits, and lentils. I also eat eggs but not meat (was always a veg). It was tough for the first 2 weeks but has become a lifestyle shift. It is a big accomplishment for me but also feels a bit crazy that this is my diet/lifestyle now. If I made these changes when I was in my early 30’s I’d probably have lost the weight in a couple of weeks! But now, it took a few months. Also, I have a bit of a tummy from pregnancies and Every Mother has been transformational. I see my abs now!!
