But if only someone could have shot back[/quote] That argument is so bad. When the SWAT team got there, even THEY could not tell which black clad person was the target. So it's just as likely that a civilian would have killed a cop. In the case of the Giffords shooting, the one man with a gun almost shot an innocent civilian who had wrestled the gun from the attacker. People may kill, but guns sure as hell make it easier to kill them by the dozen.[/quote]
