I think it is so funny that DCUM loo IRS feel they have a right to dictate Every aspect of a person's life if they are on assistance. One poster wanted them to give hamburger money to the IRS. Another is mad because someone has access to a gym. Some kid has an iPad and there should be a law preventing it. Get a grip. Poor People always have had some conveniences if they. An get them. It makes life bearable. And an information appliance isn't a bad thing for a kid to have. Free educational games.
How can someone begrudge the child of this poster the opportunity to be exposed to educational content at home? This is the big difference; you can't assume that everyone's parents have the same background to be able to educate their kids. If something as simple as an iPad lets them break this pattern, it behooves us all to ensure such access.
