Ridiculous because it’s not consistent with your opinion? Lots of people wash out from their European academy teams, and the majority of them aren’t impact players on top teams even though on average they are several years older than their American counterparts. Check out the men’s’ Mac Herman awards for the last few years. Exceptions are teams like Marshall, which is certainly stacked with overage foreign players, but has a coach with an eye for talent.
