[/quote] You clearly aren’t aware of the level of antisemitism that exists in the US. My partner is Jewish and I have sent two children to Jewish preschools in this area and both had security. One was in DC with high profile diplomats and policymakers who sent their children there and the kids were potential targets. It was completely appropriate for the synagogue to Have security in this case. The other was a smaller synagogue which had police security during the hours the preschool was open and during services. Temple members and school families pay for the security as part of their membership dues or in the form Of an annual security fee, and it’s just part of the operating costs. Synagogues often get threats. They are responding to a real risk that you are clearly ignorant about. [/quote]
