My instruction for my kid is 1) Give a little grace. Ask the teacher about the work item and grade and if the know when they’ll be returning them. 2) If you still don’t get it back timely send an email noting that you’re following up again. 3) If you still don’t get a grade send another email and this time copy your counselor and me as your parent. We’ve only made it to part three one time and started getting grades soon thereafter. Sure this teacher had to keep being proded throughout the year but the kid learned a lesson about life and still got a good grade.[/quote]
