I can't comment on Mt Daniel but my child did move schools in 2nd grade and it's completely a fine time to move.  They are still so young and inclusive at that age.  A lot of okay I'll play with the kid next to me.  She'll do great I bet![/quote]

Agreed - I just moved with a 2nd grader and she did great, pretty much exactly what PP said. We moved from that area and while my kids didn't go to FCC schools, we know a bunch who did from preschool and they were all really happy with Mt. Daniel and Oak Street. My older child played soccer on an FCC team and all the Oak Street girls were super nice and very inclusive of the handful of girls who went to different schools. I don't think you'll have anything to worry about.[/quote]
