Wootton is one of the least diverse schools in this county. The county is like 30something % Hispanic kids,  15% Asian kids, and I think like 30% FARMs.

The thing is Asians want more security being with Asians. It’s very hard for Asians growing up being the minority everywhere. [b]They’re discriminated, ignored and marginalized everywhere.  Many of them growing up with psychological trauma. [/b]It’s natural that they want to be in a school with more Asians. When they have the chance to stay together and form a strong group, it’s ridiculous to tell them that their school is not diverse and not reflecting the county population.  The school is much more diverse than most US schools. Forcing them to move to schools with 15% or less Asians is cruel.

wtf?  I have lived in the US since 1970 (yea, I'm old), when there weren't very many Asians.  I don't have psychological trauma from that.  Good grief.

I can understand their parents wanting to live in an area with a lot of other Asian, but kids aren't traumatized by going to  a school that is < 10% Asian.
