Freshman connection is basically admission for spring start but allowance to start on campus in the fall and take classes in the evening. Early college likely similar to AP classes and kids will have a range of outcomes ranging from getting accepted w merit to getting rejected. [/quote] Not an expert but getting into UMD is not guaranteed- you have to get good grades. It sounds like these high school students who are in this program are accepted as “freshmen “ but their MC coursework should be accepted by UMD as long as they got a C or better so they should save a lot of time once accepted at UMD.
