It's only if your child is struggling or falling behind or behaving poorly. This isn't like ES when you "get to know the teacher" If your kid is doing well, I would not expect to have any conferences[/quote] +1 My kids are in 9th, 8th, and 6th. I’ve only ever had one middle school PT conference - and it was because my child was struggling (math). Regular conferences just to check-in are not the norm at our middle school. [/quote]
