Most of my experience with DPR is taking tennis classes. While generally a positive and affordable experience, there's a lot of inconsitencies that no one at DPR wants to explain. Like how some weeknight classes will be one hour, 1.5 hours or maybe 2 hours, but all the same total price. Same for having fewer weeks of a class but still paying the same price.

Some classes also have way too many people. If you take a weeknight class at a neighborhood location like Fort Stevens, they cap the class at 5 or 6 people at the most per coach so that intermediates can stay engaged. But if you take classes at Banneker, you'll have 13-14 players per coach, which is completely ridiculous.

Also, DPR decided at the last minute to cancel all activities and close all facilities on Sept 29 for an all staff meeting to "help improve the DPR experience." Of course, nobody bothered answering when I asked if classes would be refunded or rescheduled. How hard is it to plan around an all-staff meeting and not sell classes for that day? Apparently too difficult for DPR.[/quote]
