I live in Ohio. No one in my circle regrets voting for Biden. Signed, Real American
Trump is going to win Ohio again, for the third time. I suppose most of your neighbors disagree with you. "Real" Americans or not. I suppose the real question for Ohio is whether Sherrod Brown holds on or is swept away in a third Trump statewide victory. The histrionics aside, which is to be expected on DCUM, the Biden administration has real problems going into this election. Joe Biden's age is clearly a major issue with three fourths of Americans saying in multiple polls that he is too old. This includes most Democrats. Then you have the Hunter Biden laptop and DOJ mess, which means no matter how you spin it, Biden is not as clean and incorruptible he was supposed to be in contrast to Trump, and which in turn makes Trump's own legal problems less a moral issue for his supporters. Trump didn't use the DOJ to try to cover up his kids' dubious business activities, something that is beyond dispute Biden's WH was trying to do. Then we have inflation, which has been real and serious. If the Democrats want to hold on to the WH, they have a better chance without Biden. Any Democrat who ignores these three major, major, major problems facing the Biden administration for a reelection is just a hardcore partisan in deep denial. I don't know what will happen in 2024. But there is a reason why Trump is outperforming his 2020 polls and is in a virtual tie with Biden despite trailing substantially in all polls in 2020 and Biden's approval rates are among the worst of any president going into reelection. These are not anecdotes or personal "lived" experiences of neighbors who don't regret voting for Biden, but the hard reality of today's polls repeated over and over again.
