Depending on if they are officer or enlisted and their rank they could be doing really well. I don’t get high income earners who refuse to save and overspend screaming poverty. Young enlisted are the concern and the fed support staff who don’t make much. They try to pay military. But they don’t the feds or contractors. [/quote] enlisted and reserves with a crappy spousal base job when not deployed. enlisted in-law set to be deployed again in a couple months but who knows. they basically get by when things are normal. and since congress can't even pass a defense bill i'm not sure how they're going to get paid?
