I'm looking at the policy and the claim that it disproportionately affects black students. It seems almost impossible that is true due to growth patterns. The student depicted has the same hairstyle as George Washington, long and kept tucked back. I don't think this is a uniquely black hairstyle; man ponytails have been popular in America among white people since the founding of our nation. [/quote]
