It's not impossible, but simply unlikely. The flu vaccine has been linked to narcolepsy. However, as the study points out, both the vaccine and the flu can cause your immune system to attack your body if you have a particular genetic mutation. There are potentially some very unlucky people out there.

Both can be autoimmune disorders. Vaccines have been shown to cause autoimmune disorders in a very small number of people. While Wexton may not be one of these people, no one should be asked to forfeit their voting rights for following the science. Or am I supposed to ignore the NIH now?[/quote]
