Usually it's a small sign or on the menu. [/quote] Me again. How south were you, and do you look/act like a northerner? I met my now DH in grad school in the south, and he is from NYC. There were several times early in dating where I had to explain to him that he was being rude to waitstaff or whoever. In his world, he was just being assertive and direct. Luckily, he learns quickly. Anyway, were you acting northern? Maybe it was $6 just for you, and cheaper for locals. Sorry.[/quote]
