I see this commonly with teams that employ many people between 22 - 27. Sales development reps, junior associates, etc.

Sorry Scrooge. Don’t go. I will be at our party next Saturday with family with free food, drinks, games, food trucks, cakes, movie and entertainment and prizes. Kids love it. There are 2-3 times the amount of kids and spouses at any company than employees. They enjoy it. It is not really for employees. What’s next canceling our Xmas party with spouse in a fancy hotel where we pay for hotel room and brunch? Don’t go. But pretty sure my wife would kill me [/quote]

My husband’s company has tons of events for employees and never really stopped during covid (not in the DC area). He’s upper management and goes to most. Kids and I go to the family ones which they have every few months. They put on good parties with lots of food and drinks. While it’s not my first choice of activities they are fun. [/quote]
