oh ffs. healthy kids spending 15-30 minutes outside in the heat is not like drunk driving. they aren’t newborns.  the problem is more that it’s uncomfortable and staffing issues probably make it hard to allow indoor/outdoor recess as the kids choose. [/quote]

+1 I wonder if pp is always this dramatic. I am from the Caribbean, and this is a regular summer there. do you think people stay indoor from
May to September? There are school without A/C and kids still go to school.[/quote]

This may be true.  But being in the Caribbean and being exposed to this weather or no ac regularly means their bodies adapt.  We don't live in the same conditions so our bodies have not adapted and need additional precautions.  I am sure if the weather dropped to 30 degrees in the Caribbean, they would make adjustments too. [/quote]
