I've used the CVS app for years and have never, ever found it invasive in any way. I use it for coupons and to check to see if my prescriptions are ready. And I get my receipts emailed to me so no more long printouts. I picked up a prescription in NWDC a couple of weeks ago and didn't have to anything with the app when I arrived. I'd say maybe the only slightly annoying thing are the sale emails are one or two a day...but I just delete and move on.
+1 The CVS near me is actually quite good (not in the DMV). I have a kid with a chronic medical condition so I'm there a LOT. The pharmacist is great and has helped me out on a number of occasions. I like being able to refill on the app but I never have to prepay or show it to them. It was a $hitshow during and right after covid but i has gotten 1000% better since then. I despise Walgreens and will never step foot in that he!!hole again.
