I would assume she just has anger issues generally or that there was some dynamic with the daughter at play (maybe loses phone all the time, maybe daughter lied about what happened to it and claimed it had been stolen, etc.). I would feel bad for the people working there but, having worked retail before, this is par for the course. No one got fired over that, I promise.
