She used veganism as an acceptable way to restrict food. "I cant eat that, I'm vegan' We .made it through but it was not easy. She is still vegan but cooks for herself a lot. I make all veggies and starches vegan and she can add beans, tofu or any of the plant based meat products. Lots of pasta, focaccia, beans, soup, chili, salads, hummus, etc. It's tough but doable.[/quote]
