He's not some buffoon or idiot like you all think he is.[/quote] He is legitimately not intelligent in an academic sense, and that was sadly compounded by a terrible education. He is pretty smart about connecting with his EOTR constituents and voting the way most of them would want him to vote. However, now he also represents Navy Yard, which has much higher turnout rates than the EOTR part of Ward 8. So it will be interesting to see if anyone challenges him. The new police commissioner nominee lives in Navy Yard, and there are a few ANC commissioners I could imagine running. [/quote]
