Not sure about the dislike for SYC. DS has played against them and they are great competitors . The coaching may not be for everyone but seems to be a cut throat environment.

At U14, I wouldn’t give these clubs all the credit though as I believe some kids recruited at that level may have joined those clubs just a year or two prior.

A bit different when they’re recruited at older age groups and/or have been at the club for a long time.

Non-MLS Next clubs can and do send kids to DC United and more can if DCU is more willing to scout outside of MLSNext.
