DP here. At my ES it is. Pickup is at 2:15 and the vast majority of parents there are going home to keep “working” with their kindergartner at home. The amount of kids in aftercare at our school is about half of pre Covid. [/quote]

The assumptions the PP is making are ridiculous.  Perhaps that parent started working at 5AM like my spouse does.  He’s “on” all day every day anyway. It’s like the person who starts this thread hasn’t worked in a long time and is just making totally uninformed conclusions from random observations of people in her neighborhood.[/quote]
