[/quote] I mean, I am THRILLED about her swimming -- she loves it, she's good at it, she's fast. I'm not going to pretend I don't love it. But I mean it when I say that if she said she wanted to quit tomorrow, it would be fine with me. I really do just want her to live a happy and fulfilled life. At the moment, that includes swimming, but if it ever doesn't, I'd support her in quitting. I'm definitely not trying to live out some athletic dream vicariously through her. Even in my heart of hearts.[/quote]
