Yes, I got that.  I guess I don’t understand why you feel your parents should know things that would upset them that she doesn’t want to share?  Like I assume she’ll have to tell them about the engagement eventually and the stuff she was able to avoid them knowing about (failed classes, pregnancy scare) what would be the benefit of them knowing after the fact?

But still, if it stresses you out you should tell her that.  You can tell her you think she should tell your parents if that’s really what’s bothering you or you can just ask her not to tell you things she’s not comfortable sharing with your parents (yet or ever).  But then you’ll know a good deal less about her life.  May be good or bad depending on your relationship I guess.[/quote]
