Like if you showed her a picture of 10 objects and asked how many. Or if you showed her a card with "5" on it and asked her to find the matching quantity of objects. I'm asking you this to zero in on difficulty interpreting visual symbols.[/quote] She can do that very quickly. She likes to tell me she doesn’t have to count objects to know how many are there. She’s right that she can do it up to about 7-8 things.[/quote]
