Looking for advice on SAT tutoring. Prepmatters recommends one on one tutoring once a week. I had assumed that group classes were the norm so this was a surprise. Can anyone share advice/recommendations about this type of SAT tutoring.
We are current PrepMatters clients, and are having good success preparing for fall with the one-on-one tutoring. We compared prep class vs. tutor. Both were going to cost about the same $2000. Tutoring was better for us for efficiency sake. The SAT prep class we looked at was about 40 hours, and covered more topics than needed. My kid needed a deep dive into certain areas, but not others. So to avoid boredom, tutoring was the superior choice. You have to know your kid.
