Someone said that 14 isn't legal to work so the people hiring 14 year old babysitters don't need to offer minimum wage. But 14 year olds can legally work in MD, with a work permit which is super easy to get, so if you want a babysitter to choose your job over a fast food job or bagging at the grocery store, you probably need to offer a competitive wage.
