This is true no matter the location, LC season just isn’t the same.

I will say it doesn’t get any better for the older kids. Fewer of them attend, many scratch finals, people are working around summer league schedules. The big travel meets are pretty good, but local PVS meets are blah.[/quote]
The best club swimmers are not scratching finals and “working around” summer league schedules. Summer is rec league, when it comes down to the choice between summer swim and a PVS  meet, the best swimmers prioritize the PVS meets. [/quote]

Everyone does stuff differently.  I know of swimmers who skipped A meets on Saturday and I know do swimmers who scratched finals in PVS bc they were exhausted.  [/quote]
