The idea of someone buying a new car with all of the safety bells and whistles and then having their kids ride in the nanny's s$%t box seems odd to me.
My nanny doesn't have a pod car because I pay her $72,000 a year.
$72k before taxes ain’t much, FYI. We have 3 boys and our nanny/family assistant gets paid $81k/52 weeks all benefits. We ended up buying an extra car, much convenient for us and for her as she couldn’t place 3 car seats in small sedan.
That's what you got out of this? The point is that someone making over $70k a year doesn't need to drive a pos car, as another poster suggested. My nanny drives a brand new Kia telluride.
She drives that for her, probably married to afford it. But, asking her to transport three kids, presumably with car seats is a bit much to ask.
