I both read the books and listen to books and I get the same value either way. I don't understand the judgment on listening versus reading. Over the years, I've grown to prefer listening to books as I can do it while driving or doing other mindless tasks, such as folding laundry, doing dishes, vacuuming, etc. My kids are in college and so I drive long distances periodically and it's a great way to kill four or five hours on the road.
