And to throw my own anecdote in the ring, my 2021 grad got accepted to a T25, with (standard!) Geometry in 9th and AP Stats instead of Calc AB senior year. My younger kid did much worse than a B+ in Geometry as a freshman and I'm ok with that...she's not gunning for T25, and showed major upward trend sophomore year. She'll be just fine and OPs kid will, too. According to the Department of Education, there are about 4000 colleges in the US alone, and US News (if you're so inclined) ranks almost 1500 schools. There are plenty of places to get an excellent education outside of the mythical T25, T50 or even T100. [/quote]
