Not knowing what’s happening to the Uyghurs in China is that bad.   This is not some obscure little article.  This is major news.  If you read any daily newspaper you would recognize the name and what’s happening.  Probably most Americans don’t read much but running for office requires the candidate to know the top stories. I don’t like Suarez but if you read a newspaper everyday the pronunciation of Uyghurs is not readily apparent. I didn’t know it starts with a “wee” sound. The “uy” sound in Spanish sounds like an oi sound. So “oigurs” makes more sense to someone who speaks Spanish and English not weegars. [/quote]

Who in the hell is only [i]reading a newspaper[/i] to stay informed when you’re running for POTUS? If nothing else, shouldn’t you have a staff keeping you informed about world affairs?
